Augmenting Ability, LLC is a private music therapy practice established to assist clients in reaching their fullest potential through music therapy experiences. The practice, established by Melissa A. Ward, MT-BC in October 2007, serves individuals in both Maryland and Pennsylvania.

It has become evident to Melissa throughout her education and professional career that she is only a facilitator in the success of her clients - it is the client that achieves goals and holds responsibility for their success!

For this reason, Augmenting Ability, LLC states that we are helping clients to reach their fullest potential. In addition to music therapy services, Augmenting Ability, LLC also provides music lessons to the community on piano, voice, and guitar.
